This grammar course will focus on complex structures in idiomatic written English which, when mastered, will greatly help ESL speakers in acquiring a clearer, more sophisticated writing style.

 

Topics offered may include:

  • noun complements
  • relative clauses
  • adverb clauses
  • adjective clauses
  • causative clauses
  • hyphenated adjectives
  • possessives and compound nouns
  • subjunctive structures
  • ‘it’ clefts
