Medical Ethics for Allied Health Professions
FPM-40675
This course is designed to familiarize the student with medical ethics in a way which will allow for personal expression and further growth as a critical thinker. This course will discuss theories, controversial issues, and examine clinical cases. The weekly topics will focus on key medical ethics terminology to expand the student's knowledge and guide discussions in a thought provoking way. The discussions should allow you the freedom to express opinions and give you an opportunity to get to know the views of other students who may have varying opinions. For those students pursuing careers in the allied health professions, this class will aid in interview preparation for professional schools. The goal is that students make well informed, decisive positions on ethical questions that will arise in their life.
