People often say psychology is a young science. Actually, psychology is not so much a young science (thinkers have pondered psychological issues for millennia) as it is a broad and often difficult science. Psychological investigation requires statistical analysis, careful experimentation, advanced technology, and most importantly, cleverness. This class will focus on a wide range of sub-fields in psychology, providing something like a “trailer” for each, in order to introduce students to the variety of topics included under the umbrella of psychology.
