This intensive two-day bootcamp will focus on building your internal controls system to streamline your corporate controls and establish controls in business processes. You will know more about risks and how to mitigate them appropriately. Discover practical solutions on how to build and maintain effective internal controls to deter fraud and improve control effectiveness.
All course materials are designed in line with COSO’s 2013 Internal Control — Integrated Framework. The course contains two business cases and many practical examples throughout the course.
Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Understand and apply in practice the 2013 COSO framework, it’s principles and point of focus
- Build and maintain an effective internal control system in your organization
- Understand interconnectedness between risks and controls
- Better manage risks in your organization
Note: Prerequisites: Students should have an intermediate level knowledge of accounting principles.
The bootcamp will be held at the UC San Diego University City Center (UCC) location at: 6256 Greenwich Drive
