Building upon the theoretical foundations of Gestalt therapy, this course emphasizes the methods of Gestalt play therapy, role-play, and psychodrama by using puppet play, dramatic
enactment, art, floor play, sand tray, and stories. The course also covers the Gestalt approach to assessment, limit-setting, goal-setting, the developing sense of self, and the therapeutic environment.
