From the perspective of a tongue tie release provider who is also an IBCLC, this presentation aims to highlight the importance of thorough assessment for all contributing factors prior to considering release. Additionally, this lecture examines factors that contribute to persistent problems post infant frenectomy and reviews evidence and science-based assessment strategies and interventions when there is little to no improvement post infant frenectomy.
