Breaking through conflict is necessary in order for leaders to keep team members on track to meet targets. This half-day workshop invites professionals to learn how to power through disagreements by getting to the root of the real issues, turning negative energy into action, and to successfully help players work together to accomplish goals. You will uncover reaction to adversaries and how to modify personal or team behaviors to align more with the vision of the organization, creating an authentic and compassionate culture.
Topics may include:

- Various conflict styles and approaches
- Methods that address unacceptable behaviors, including aggression and hostility

Mayhew, Rich, Principal, Smart Solutions
Rich Mayhew is the president of The Mayhew Group, a consulting company that is a trusted advisor to organizations helping to develop high-performance leaders and teams. He is also an executive coach and his clients span the technology, pharmaceutical, entertainment, energy and utility, health care and financial services industries. Mayhew was previously vice president at Bank of America. He holds a bachelor's in finance and a PPOD in organizational development from Columbia University. Mayhew is an on-call faculty member with the Center for Creative Leadership and is also chairman of the board of the San Diego Childrens Choir.
