Prepare for your Security+ Certification

This course emphasizes hands-on practical skills ensuring that the security professional is better prepared to tackle a broader range of problems. This course provides students the tools needed identify and address security incidents more effectively.

We now live in a cloud-first, hybrid world that supports myriad services, including AI, IoT management, and data analytics. It's important to understand how to secure each element of the attack surface, including the cloud, installed servers, and data centers.

Malware, ransomware, and distributed denial-of-service attacks are carefully designed to destroy traditional backup solutions. Initially, cyber criminals simply encrypting files and demanded ransom. As their skills evolve, hackers deploy techniques that compromise systems that control a company's sensitive data to extort large sums of money. This violates privacy principles and laws - a practice called doxing.
