Bio
Clelia is a native of Buenos Aires, Argentina, with over 20 years of experience teaching Spanish language and culture to college/university students as well as to military and religious personnel trained in Spanish for specific missions. She earned her Master’s degree from the University of California, Irvine. She strongly believes that learning languages helps build bridges of mutual understanding, leading to improved communication between people and a greater appreciation for different cultures. Clelia encourages her students to immerse themselves fully in learning Spanish as San Diego offers many opportunities to do so, owing to its rich cultural diversity. When she is not teaching, she enjoys reading, taking walks in the park, and gardening.
