Bio
Randall J. McWilliams is a facilities management and capital projects executive with more than 25 years of experience across professional sports, higher education, performing arts, hospitality, and the U.S. Navy.As Vice President of Facilities Management and Special Projects for the San Diego Padres, he oversees facilities operations, strategic planning, capital projects, and real estate across multiple locations, including Petco Park and team training facilities.
McWilliams directs multimillion-dollar operating and capital improvement budgets and brings extensive hands-on experience in building operations and maintenance, construction management, budgeting, energy management, sustainability, life safety, and vendor management.
He holds a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership from the University of Redlands and a Certificate in Facilities Management from the University of California Irvine. In Principles of Facilities Management, McWilliams brings a practical, real-world perspective to the field, connecting core facilities management principles with the challenges of leading people, managing buildings and budgets, delivering capital projects, and creating safe, efficient, and sustainable facilities.
