Stephen Mayfield has a distinguished career in plant and algae molecular genetics. A biotech entrepreneur, Dr. Mayfield is working on creating his third start up company. He holds Bachelor of Science degrees in biochemistry and plant science from California Polytech University, as well as a Ph.D. in genetics from UC Berkeley.
