Bio

Jenna N. Matheny is a licensing associate II at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute where she focuses on developing intellectual property strategies for and supporting the commercialization of university technologies. Prior to joining Dana Farber, she worked in the office of Technology Transfer office at the Tulane University. Prior to that she was the grants director for the New Orleans BioInnovation Center, a non-profit incubator for life science companies. During law school, she was a legal intern with the New Orleans BioInnovation Center and conducted patentability evaluations for technologies developed at Tulane and LSU Health Sciences Center-New Orleans. She is a 2009 graduate of Tulane University Law School, where she received her J.D., and a 2005 graduate of Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where she received her S.B. in brain and cognitive sciences with a minor in philosophy. She has been admitted to practice in Louisiana since 2009 and is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, the New Orleans Bar Association and the Association of University Technology Managers. She is Chair of the Gulf Coast Intellectual Property Association and is a member of the Board of Directors of Louisiana Bio, the state chapter of BIO. She lives in Boston.
