Bio
Dr. Lauren Lurie (she/her/hers) is a biostatistician and educator with extensive experience applying statistics to healthcare and medical research. She currently works in the medical device industry, where she focuses on the design and analysis of clinical trials and real-world evidence. Her previous experience includes statistical research at the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute and consulting across healthcare and federal health and science organizations. Dr. Kunz has taught statistics and biostatistics at both the undergraduate and graduate levels and particularly enjoys helping students connect statistical concepts to real-world applications. She holds a Ph.D. in Biostatistics from Harvard University and a B.A. in Chemistry and Mathematics with a concentration in Statistics from St. Olaf College.
