Arshad Khan M.E., MBA

Bio

Arshad Khan is a retired analytics, business intelligence (BI), and artificial intelligence (AI) professional with 40 years of industry experience. Throughout his career, he led and contributed to numerous analytics, enterprise resource planning (ERP), and technology initiatives, including a machine learning program.

Mr. Khan has held leadership and technical roles across a range of organizations. He led the Tableau development team at Juniper Networks, initiated the analytics program at ABB Digital, served as a BI Architect on a U.S. Navy project, and was Head of Customer Success for an analytics startup.
His industry experience also includes positions with prominent Silicon Valley companies such as Hitachi America, Acuson, and LSI Logic. As a consultant, he has worked with organizations including Deloitte, PwC, Accenture, Chevron, Genentech, DaimlerChrysler, Polycom, PepsiCo, and The Home Depot, among many others.

In addition to his industry career, Mr. Khan has more than three decades of experience in higher education. He has taught as an adjunct instructor at UC San Diego Extended Studies, UC Berkeley, UC Santa Cruz Silicon Valley, Golden Gate University, and Santa Clara University, bringing extensive real-world experience in analytics, business intelligence, enterprise systems, and emerging technologies into the classroom.

Mr. Khan is also the author of 24 books, including seven focused on business intelligence and analytics and four on artificial intelligence. His professional and academic work reflects a longstanding focus on applying technology, data, and analytics to practical business challenges.
