Bio

Militza Jimenez, MS, MBA, is a Vocational Rehabilitation Specialist and Psychosocial Counselor with extensive experience supporting adults, youth, and individuals with disabilities in workforce development and career counseling. In her role as an instructor, Militza develops and delivers career-focused training for adult learners, helping them build skills, navigate workforce opportunities, and achieve meaningful employment. She has also held positions in community rehabilitation programs, higher education, and public agencies, providing individualized career guidance, job readiness training, and employment support to diverse populations.

Her expertise includes program development, career advising, workshop facilitation, employment support, and team collaboration. She has supervised programs and led teams in a variety of settings, including government agencies, non-profits, education, and multicultural community programs.

Militza holds an MS in Rehabilitation Counseling from San Diego State University and an MBA from California State University San Marcos. She is passionate about guiding career advisors and job seekers to strengthen their skills, understand workforce trends, and achieve their professional goals. Militza’s mission is to empower individuals through equitable, culturally responsive, and trauma-informed practices, helping them succeed in education and employment.
