Bio

Bryan Huneycutt is a globally recognized entertainment safety consultant, educator, and operations executive with over 25 years of experience in live events, theatre, music, and film. He led the Entertainment Safety division for Disney Parks Live Entertainment, overseeing U.S.-based productions including parades, pyrotechnics, and stage shows. As Vice President of North American Operations for Halo Solutions, he brings enterprise-level safety and incident management tools to live entertainment environments.

Bryan is the founder of HuneyBadger Consulting and serves on the Board of the Event Safety Alliance, where he champions psychological safety, fatigue mitigation, and inclusive leadership practices. He is a published author in trade and academic outlets and has contributed to consensus standards including ANSI ES1.9 (Crowd Management), ES1.40 (Event Security), and ES1.42 (Parade Safety). As a UC San Diego instructor, Bryan helps shape the next generation of safety professionals by connecting theory to real-world risk.
