Amy Gleason

Bio

Amy Gleason is the Career Services Manager at the UC Irvine Division of Continuing Education. In this role, Amy develops and delivers all aspects of career development for adult learners enrolled in certificate programs seeking career change or upskilling. Amy has also held positions as an alumni career coach at the University of Utah and Career Coordinator of the College of Health and Human Services at CSU Long Beach. Amy is also a career changer, with extensive experience in the social work field before making the transition to career coaching.

Her expertise includes program development, program management, event coordination, team leadership and training. She has program supervision/team leadership experience in a variety of settings including government social services, education, non-profit and healthcare.

As a TESOL-certified instructor, Amy has taught English in the English Language Institute at California State University Sacramento. As a business ESL instructor and career coach,  she runs her own online business, where Amy helps professionals worldwide enhance their English skills for business communication. Specializing in guiding clients through career transitions, she offers expert support in resume reviews, interview preparation, LinkedIn optimization, and salary negotiation. Amy’s mission is to inspire hope, build confidence, and equip individuals with the tools they need to succeed, whether they are starting their careers or navigating a change in direction.
