Bio

Alyssa is currently a Scripps Fellow at Scripps Institution of Oceanography, UC San Diego. She was a research assistant as well as a teaching assistant and Genomics Fellow at the College of Charleston. Alyssa has experience as a genetics and parasitology teacher’s assistant and as an instructor for intro to biology for non-majors, lab section at the College of Charleston. In addition, she has been a tutor for biology of plankton at Roger Williams University and taken multiple courses relating to marine invertebrates and marine Biology.
