Tanya Bredehoft

Bio

Tanya Bredehoft specializes in information and communication design for informal education settings and is the principal of Artefact Design, an interpretive design studio. With more than 25 years of experience on international and domestic projects, Ms. Bredehoft is responsible for planning, design, project management and fabrication coordination. She has been involved with such diverse projects as: the Hong Kong Museum of Science & Industry, the United States Holocaust Museum, Birch Aquarium at Scripps, UC San Diego and the San Diego Padres. Most regional projects, ranging from an interpretive trail program for FundaciĆ³n la Puerta in Tecate, Mexico, to a bilingual science education program for Audubon Texas include a Spanish language component. Ms. Bredehoft earned a bachelor's degree in design & industry, with honors, from San Francisco State University after studying landscape architecture at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.
