Heidi Batchelor earned her master's in geography from San Diego State University specializing in GIS and remote sensing of the marine environment. She is currently a programmer/analyst at the Scripps Institution of Oceanography, Marine Physical Laboratory. Batchelor has 15+ years of experience with GIS technologies in environmental and marine applications.
