Clint Backhaus is a Program Delivery Manager at Sempra Energy, where he supports large-scale technical and enterprise initiatives. With more than 20 years of experience managing complex technology programs, he brings extensive expertise in program management, enterprise architecture, and IT delivery across diverse organizations. Known for a disciplined, results‑oriented approach to leading cross‑functional teams and managing risk, his work reflects a strong record of successful technology‑driven program execution within the energy sector. Clint is dedicated to supporting student learning and organizational development, contributing his knowledge to help individuals and teams strengthen their capabilities in project and program management and Agile transformation. He holds a BS in Computer Engineering and an MBA from the University of Nebraska, along with professional certifications in PMP, Scrum Master, and Product Owner. He has also served as a Director and Instructor for the Project Management Institute San Diego Chapter’s PMP Exam Prep Course.
