Wendy Yamamoto has over 13 years of experience teaching middle school, high school and university courses in the U.S. and Japan. Her teaching expertise includes communication skills with a special focus on business, English academic writing, cultural studies and multicultural American literature. Yamamoto has designed and taught courses at UC Davis International Extension programs, Hokuriku Junior and Senior High School in Japan, and at the International Rescue Committee in San Diego. She is currently a career development advisor at UC San Diego in the computer science and engineering department. She holds a Ph.D. in comparative literature from UC Davis and a bachelor's in English language and literature/letters from Scripps College.
