Kobe Bogaert cares about making a significant contribution to the performance of companies and their people through improved collaboration. As a principal of Strategic Momentum, Inc., he provides conversational skills, business process methods and strategic tools that allow leaders and their cross-functional teams to transform their organizations. He is also the managing director of growth strategy, team building, leadership development and culture change at Altus Growth Partners. He has worked with clients in the U.S. and Europe.
Bogaert has worked as a financial and management executive in start-up, turn around and growth scenarios with several small to medium sized companies. This gave him an appreciation of the importance of planning, implementing business processes and building high performing team dynamics.
He actively focuses on learning new distinctions that he can share with his clients. He was fortunate to work with Dr. Igor Ansoff, a distinguished strategic thinker and author often referred to as the "father of strategic management." Currently, he is engaged with the Generative Leadership Institute advanced program to further deepen his distinctions around leadership in high performance organizations.
He believes in giving back to the community and he does that by being involved in several organizations as committee member, board member and/or treasurer. In addition, he has a passion for teaching at UC San Diego Extension as well as for the Executive Program for Scientists and Engineers. He was honored as one of the 2010 class of “40 under 40 San Diego Brightest Young Leaders.”
A native of Belgium, Europe, he moved to San Diego in 1995 and became a U.S. Citizen in April 2010. He holds a bachelor's in finance from KHLeuven in Belgium, and an MBA in strategic management from Marshall Goldsmith School of Management at Alliant International University. While working with Dr. Ansoff, he had the opportunity to complete extensive doctoral classes in strategic management.
