Kimberly Smith has been working in children’s education for the last 10 years. The last four years, she has spent as a Special Education Instructional Aide for the Alpine Union School District and working as a summer school art teacher for the Alpine Education Foundation. Kimm's continued volunteer positions include 10 years as an art docent at the elementary and middle school levels and seven years as a distribution coordinator for a local food donation program servicing East County residents. Prior to finding a flair for children’s education, Kimm worked for eight years as a certified nursing assistant and admissions coordinator for Alvarado Hospital.
