H. Michelle Grandin, Ph.D. is currently working as a scientific consultant in the field of biomaterials on applications ranging from vascular stents to dental implants, while focusing on surface material properties and implant design. During her postdoctoral research, and later as a senior scientist at the ETH, she steered a number of international partnership projects through the development of 3D microwell arrays for the study of isolated cells with uses ranging from stem cell to cancer research.
