Carolyn Marsden teaches History of Children's Literature, Writing for Children II: Intermediate, and Writing for the Middle Grade/YA Reader for the Children's Book Illustration and Children's Book Writing certificate programs. Carolyn Marsden, MFA is the author of over a dozen award-winning children's novels published by Candlewick, Viking and Carolrhoda. Her books take place in countries all over the world and in a wide variety of historical times, ranging from the sixteenth century to the present. Marsden has taught writing for over thirty years.
