UC San Diego Division of Extended Studies offers on-site classes at two locations in San Diego to accommodate busy professionals and students alike.
Effective January 1st, 2020, the University City Center (UCC) location will require all students, faculty, and guests to register their vehicles online. In order to provide free and accessible parking for everyone at the University City Center (UCC) building, all vehicles will have to be registered online using the link below:
Failure to register your vehicle by January 1st, 2020 will result in citations and towing of the vehicle at the owner’s expense.

Transportation Options
UC San Diego Division of Extended Studies students, faculty and staff have several options for traveling to and around campus locations.
FROM THE SOUTH
- Take the La Jolla Village Drive exit.
- Turn left onto La Jolla Village Drive.
- Turn left at Villa La Jolla Drive.
- Turn right at the first corner.
- Turn right into the parking area.
- Drive straight into the parking garage under the 8980 building.
FROM THE NORTH
- Take I-5 south.
- Take the La Jolla Village Drive exit.
- Turn right onto La Jolla Village Drive.

Students, faculty and staff can ride free shuttles that serve campus, medical centers and key points off campus. Be prepared to show your campus ID to the driver upon request.

Commuting to and around UC San Diego Division of Extended Studies campuses by bike or by foot is a healthy, inexpensive and reliable form of transportation. While enjoying fresh air and scenic views of the campuses, you're also reducing traffic congestion and making a valuable contribution to the environment. For your convenience, we offer bike racks at all Extension locations.
Locking Tips
- Always lock your bike to a bicycle rack.
- Use a high-quality "U" shaped lock. Avoid using lightweight cables or chains, or low-quality U-locks.
- Always attach your bicycle to the rack through the frame and both wheels.
- Lock all free or easily detachable parts or take them with you.
- Avoid leaving your bicycle locked outside overnight.
- Check the lock before departing to ensure it is secured.
