Interdisciplinary Marine Conservation Advanced Certificate Info Session
Join us for a 1-hour live session to learn what to expect from the Interdisciplinary Marine Conservation 9-week summer program offered through UC San Diego Extended Studies in partnership with Scripps Institution of Oceanography. We’ll walk through the structure and goals of the program, highlight key experiences like interdisciplinary lectures, labs, fieldwork, and the Catalina Island trip, and explain how the summer course integrates hands-on learning with graduate-level content that culminates in an advanced certificate and 16 units of graduate credit. You’ll also have plenty of time to ask questions about coursework, logistics, application details, and how this immersive experience can support your marine conservation goals.
Presenter: Hannah Tannenbaum, Program Manager, Scripps Institution of Oceanography
