Springboard, the pioneer of mentor-led online learning, today announced a new partnership with University of California San Diego Extension (UC San Diego Extension). Through UC San Diego Extension, this partnership creates the opportunity for learners to build and advance their technical skills while earning a professional certificate of completion from UC San Diego Extension in machine learning engineering. 

Springboard’s unique learning experience allows students to advance at their own pace with 1-on-1 mentorship from industry experts, while receiving support from student advisors and career coaches. The six month, self-paced and part-time machine learning engineering bootcamp will be balanced around developing technical skills through collaborative project-based learning, and providing career support to help students advance in their current profession or launch a new career in a high-demand field.

To address this global employment gap, the new UC San Diego Extension Machine Learning Engineering Bootcamp is designed to propel learners with coding experience into new machine learning and artificial intelligence careers in one of the top US cities for tech hiring. 

Enrollment for the UC San Diego Extension Machine Learning Engineering Bootcamp is open now, with the first cohort of students beginning January 2021. Upon completion of the program, students will earn a certificate of completion, as well as stackable continuing education (CEU) credits that can be used toward future UC San Diego Extension certificate programs.
