English as a Second Language (ESL) Program

Improve your ESL skills for personal, career and academic success.

Our courses are designed to improve the English language skills of adult ESL learners for academic, professional, and personal success. Our high-intermediate and advanced-level courses provide specialized knowledge and education for those looking to refine their communication competencies for professional and academic purposes.

Develop and build your English language skills to be successful in your career or industry. Our courses focus on the essential needs to be an effective communicator. High-quality classes are conveniently offered in the afternoon and evening, and focus on key subject areas such as academic and technical writing, business English communication skills, grammar and vocabulary, conversation and speaking, and pronunciation and fluency.

We offer courses both in-person (at our Extended Studies La Jolla Campus) and online. View course details for specific information about delivery methods.
