  • Understand application types, administration functions, and content management systems (CMS)
  • Recognize application vulnerabilities and concepts related to websites
  • Comprehend cyber-attack methods and techniques and stages of cyber attacks
  • Execute operating system command lines and use command-line tools
  • Apply IT security principles and methods and system hardening techniques
  • Utilize network analysis tools to identify vulnerabilities and understand networking protocols
  • Acquire a comprehensive understanding of the inner workings and structures inherent to Linux operating systems

Lab Fee: Students must purchase a Haiku Product License in order to access Haiku missions for this course. Student's Haiku Product License is good for 1 year from date of purchase.

Course Typically Offered: Online in every quarter.

Prerequisite: Basic computer skills including a working knowledge of software, hardware, and networking.
