Putting SDAIE Theory into Practice

EDUC-41447

This course will provide elementary and secondary teachers (grades 2-12) with a variety of SDAIE strategies that can be used across content areas and grade levels. These SDAIE practices are the "scaffolds" that enable English language learners to access grade-level curriculum while simultaneously developing academic language. This course will focus on a lesson plan format in which SDAIE strategies are embedded. Emphasis will be on active, hands-on involvement and the immediate application of these strategies in the classroom.
