High School: Water Clean-Up

ENVR-90014

Maintaining a clean drinking supply is key for preventing the spread of infectious diseases.  Additionally, water is a source of minerals and other important nutrients.  We will explore the ensurance of a healthy drinking water supply from the small scale of a camp up to the municipal level.  Additional considerations will be placed on cross-national contaminants with the exploration of the Tijuana River Estuary and the development of antibiotic resistant strains of bacteria in the water supply.
