Astronauts in Training: Explore the Solar System!
Students will act as astronauts in training by learning about the sun, moons, stars, planets and space travel. The goal of this course is to provide a basic understanding of what our solar system is, what makes up the solar system and where we fit in, including the tools we use to explore space. This course is intended for students in second through third grade.
What you'll learn
By the end of the course, students will:
- Students will be able to identify structures of the solar system, describe the phases of the moon, recall the basic job of an astronaut, retell facts about the sun and moon.
