Elementary School: Blast Off, A Journey through Space

KINDERGARTEN - 2ND GRADE

Students will act as astronauts in training by learning about the sun, moons, stars, planets and space travel. The goal of this course is to provide a basic understanding of what our solar system is, what makes up the solar system and where we fit in, including the tools we use to explore space. This course is intended for kindergarten through second grade.

How to Enroll Your Child

To register your child for this course, a parent or guardian must first create an account and complete the registration on the student’s behalf (please note: the parent/guardian will enroll themselves in the course to represent the student).

  1. Click “Add to Cart” to select the course.
  2. Proceed to checkout to complete the registration process.
  3. After registering, be sure to fill out and submit the Authorization Form to finalize enrollment.

Potty Training Requirement
Please note that all students entering Kindergarten through 2nd grade must be fully potty trained prior to the start of the program. 

What you'll learn

By the end of the course, students will:

  • Students will be able to identify structures of the solar system, describe the phases of the moon, recall the basic job of an astronaut, retell facts about the sun and moon.
