This course focuses on improving students’ writing skills using the six traits to enrich the writing process for primary students. The course begins offering detailed information on what to look for in students’ writing and pictures and how to comment on their work in a way that will support and encourage their writing abilities. There are individual units dedicated to each of the six traits. Then, teachers are introduced to multiple strategies and ideas that can support and improve their students’ writing.
