Students undertake a 60-hour internship experience to apply their science communication studies, skills and principles within a professional organization. Students explore science communication as a discipline and gain hands-on experience in a professional environment. They will be mentored by a dedicated supervisor and meet at least weekly to set objectives and work toward a completed project or publication. Students will have the opportunity to apply their practical studies in a wide variety of science communication fields.

Prerequisite: Students must have at least passed Science Writing I and Digital Journalism: News and Feature Writing prior to applying.
