Ellen Mann is a native of Detroit, Michigan, who has taught English as a second language around the world. She graduated with honors from the University of Michigan, earned her TEFL Certification at UC San Diego Extension and her Master of TESOL from Alliant International University, where she was named Outstanding Master of Arts TESOL graduate. Ellen has been an English as a Second Language instructor at the UC San Diego English Language Institute since 2013. Prior to joining UC San Diego Extension, she taught at schools in Chiang Mai, Thailand; Taipei, Taiwan; Buenos Aires, Argentina; and London, England.
