Amber Roshay is an ESL Instructor at UC San Diego’s English Language Institute. Before joining UCSD, she was the Director of Studies at International House. During that time she coordinated the CELTA teacher training program and the junior program. Her first teaching jobs were in Thailand and China teaching young learners and adults. She has been teaching for over ten years with specialties in academic writing, exam skills, pronunciation, and presentations. In addition, she has experience with curriculum development for all English language levels and skills. She has presented and developed teacher training workshops for a variety of topics including speaking standardizations, using technology in the classroom, best teaching practices and teaching young learners.
