The landscape of pharmaceutical development is constantly being reshaped by regulatory policy
and pressure to develop new therapies that are economically better than existing therapies. In
this environment, companies must make careful considerations on which compounds they will
move through the clinic. In this course you will gain an understanding of why having a strong
ADME toxicology program is crucial to evaluate the ADME properties that will determine which
compounds will have the best success to move through the development phase. Topics will
include drug metabolism, pharmacokinetics and toxicology.
