This is an introductory course that will cover the elements or principles, of visual design including; contrast, balance, emphasis, movement, white space, proportion, hierarchy, repetition, rhythm, pattern, unity, and variety. These principles of design work together to create something that is aesthetically pleasing and optimizes the user experience.

Course Fee: $595
Prerequisite: A basic to intermediate knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, especially in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign. This can be demonstrated by completion of the recommended prerequisites in the course matrix, or previous educational or professional experience.
Software: Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat Pro. Adobe InDesign is recommended, but not required.
