Clinical orientation and participation of Hybrid Lactation interns. Interns would attend the pre-arranged clinical site, shadowing and working in conjunction with the facility IBCLC. The intern would review the case triage, management, and follow up procedures for a particular facility. The intern would progress from shadowing to interactive clinical partnerships and individualized client care and case management. This course is part one of two. The second part of the clinical internship is wrapped into the Hybrid lactation course which includes didactic, expanded homework, and clinical. The second part of clinical internship is fall to spring quarter on an annual basis.
