This course provides K-12 online teachers with the knowledge and strategies necessary to support students with exceptionalities in an online learning environment. Participants will consider the process for identifying students with exceptionality and providing services for those students in the online environment. Participants will understand specific special populations within the 13 categories of Special Education, and online course strategies to be utilized toward student achievement. Participants will create a presentation highlighting a special population and the best practices for that population.
