In appreciation of demographic data that forecast noteworthy increases in the number of Americans over 65 by 2050, this course offers a robust portrait of theory and practice associated with attending to the cognitive and affective needs of 'older adults' in diverse educational settings. The course serves as a platform to understand variations in learning styles and profiles across the age range, including motivation and commitment.
