All K-12 Dual Language educators and administrators need to be aware of how a Dual Language program works, how each language is developed, and why they are beneficial to student learning and growth. Topics for this course include effective teaching strategies, tools for success, teacher and administrator responsibilities, administrator role and communication, parent communication, classroom organization, managing two sets of students (50/50) or 2 languages in the same class (90/10), and collaborating with a partner teacher (50/50) and/or grade level team (50/50 and 90/10) to achieve success for all.

Note: This is the third required course in the Dual Language Immersion Program. The first required course is Pillars of Dual Language Immersion. The secnd required course is Curriculum Development in Dual Language Immersion.The last required course is Assessment & Accountability in Dual Language Immersion. The courses may not be taken out of order.
