Bio
Jill Bishop is a senior fundraising professional with almost 25 years of successful philanthropicleadership experience, as well as 20 years of professional experience in the corporate sector.
Her corporate background includes media, marketing and finance experience with Fortune 500
companies.
Jill brings leadership experience managing development teams for a variety of nonprofit
organizations; prospecting and managing a major gifts portfolio; event planning and production; and capital campaign planning and execution. She has produced a variety of special events including galas, luncheon and symposiums as well as on-air fundraising campaigns for public media. She has experience in a variety of nonprofit sectors and markets including social services, public media, and community foundations, as well as producing and presenting theater. She is a highly accomplished relationship manager. In her new nonprofit fundraising consulting/contracting practice, her focus is on helping small to medium non-profit organizations establish a fundraising plan or department; serving as Interim Director of Development; training or mentoring new development professionals and coaching organizational leaders in best practice fundraising. She also offers special event planning and execution consulting. Jill is community-minded and has served on many non-profit boards over the course of her career. Among her board positions, she served as Chair of Government Relations for the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) Southern Arizona Chapter.
