Valerie Rivera is a STEAM instructor with UC San Diego's Sally Ride Program and an English educator at the grade school and college level. Passionate about building students' mathematic, scientific, and literary skills, she also emphasizes the importance of building confidence in students' continually expanding academic abilities. Her goal is to assist students to achieve the success and advancement in their education that they strive for.
