María R. González teaches Spanish for Communication I, II, III, IV, V, VI, and VII for the Spanish Language certificate program. She has her M.A. & B.A. Spanish from SDSU. María has more than 27 years of experience teaching Spanish. She has worked with students of all ages, from elementary school age to university, and all levels, from beginning to advanced and upper division literature, reading and writing.
María is co-author of a Spanish grammar text/workbook series for elementary 3rd and 4th grade native Spanish speakers. Additionally, María volunteers in her community as a mentor to high school seniors and their parents going through the college application process.
