As Director of Marketing, Communications and Public Relations at Qualcomm, Elkadi is a seasoned marketing and business professional with 16 years of diverse and global industry experience in product marketing, business development, product management and corporate communications. As a market leader in wireless technology, Qualcomm is at the forefront of inventing next generation mobile/wireless technologies that impact the daily lives of consumers. This could be the smartphone in your pocket, the tablet on your coffee table or the navigation system in your car.

At Qualcomm, Elkadi is laser focused on driving mobile/wireless marketing and communication strategies globally with customers, partners, media, technology bloggers and industry influencers. He drives outbound communications and spearheads relationships, negotiations and partnerships with wireless operators, smartphones manufacturers and infrastructure vendors. He also leads the company’s mobile/wireless efforts in outbound marketing and communications with business and media publications and industry influencers.

Over the years, Elkadi has been recognized for proactively growing revenue, sales pipeline, design wins and new business/marketing opportunities for strategic accounts. He has also demonstrated success in leading definition and launch of new products from concept to full production and the creation of go-to-market plans; he has successfully launched numerous new product launches through the product life-cycle management. Elkadi has a deep passion for driving large scale marketing and communication initiatives with customers and partners. He also mentors students, providing leadership and guidance on career related activities. In his spare time, he is a father and is an avid soccer player and sports fan.

Elkadi holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with an emphasis in marketing and strategy from the Paul Merage School of Business at the University of California Irvine. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from the Jacobs School of Engineering at the University of California San Diego. Elkadi is also a faculty member for the School of Business at the University of Phoenix where he instructs undergraduate and graduate courses in marketing, strategic business management, organizational behavior and strategic communications.
