Explore the range of current practices in exhibition design in interpretive and cultural centers. By the end of this course, students will create a portfolio-ready project through a process of evaluation, critique and refinement. Projects will include: principles of visitor studies, content development, application of 2D and 3D design elements, and best business practices. Coursework will advance student knowledge base and skills in communication, presentation, and storytelling of design work.
Note: Prerequisite: Introduction to Adobe Creative Cloud (ART40665) or equivalent experience in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator.
