Chula Vista Elementary School District

The Education Department at UC San Diego Division of Extended Studies has partnered with the Chula Vista Elementary School District (CVESD) to develop a dedicated program for a cohort-based professional development course and certification. Open to teachers, administrators and parents, the program curriculum focuses on exploring teaching and learning in the 21st century, differentiation for diverse learners and current trends and topics in gifted education.

Northrop Grumman

UC San Diego Division of Extended Studies partners with Northrop Grumman to provide custom training programs for their employees. By offering tuition reimbursement, Northrop Grumman helps individuals grow in their positions and take on more responsibility. Each program offers tools that can be applied on the job allowing employees the opportunity to add new skills which improve results for the company.

Norwegian University of Science and Technology

UC San Diego Division of Extended Studies International Programs first partnered with the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in 2002, marking the inception of a new university credit program, University and Professional Studies (UPS). The UPS program allows international students the ability to study in almost every department at UC San Diego during their bachelor or masters degrees, and transfer their course credits back to their home universities in Norway. Since 2006, nearly 500 NTNU students have completed classes as part of the UPS program.

San Diego Community Health Centers

UC San Diego Division of Extended Studies works with Family Health Centers from around the San Diego region to provide vital training for employees to improve workplace competency and job retention. Instruction includes training for medical assistants, healthcare IT programs and customer service.
