In EDUC 31707, candidates create an Individualized Learning Plan (ILP) to guide professional growth throughout the duration of the Induction Program. As a living document, the ILP is developed and refined over the course of the Induction program based on reflective teaching practice aligned to the California Standards for the Teaching Profession (CSTPs); guidance from mentors and instructors; and feedback from peers within the program and at the school site. Candidates will focus on the ILP goals aligned to the CSTPs to support outcomes to practice and refine teaching practices. Prerequisite EDUC 30787 Introduction to Induction.

Note: 

Induction Candidates (and their Site-Based Mentor) must be approved in the Induction program before enrolling. Candidates enroll into the respective Candidate course section with the same instructor and start and end dates as their Site-based Mentor’s course. The corresponding Induction Mentor course is Induction Mentor Individualized Learning PlanPlease review the Induction Candidate and Mentor Course Alignment for the full list of courses.
